Description
This thesis proposes a methodical procedure for the design of multiple stage converters and a new multiple stage topology based on mixed structures, which allows to reduce the power consumption and to simplify teh control complexity in relation to other mulitple stage converters. Particulary, in this research, the design procedure was exemplified using a specific application: a pulsed high current source for inductive loads with high precision in the flat top and low settling, rise and fall times.
