Langzeittests von Si-Streifendetektoren auf bestückten Substrukturen des CMS-Spurdetektors
Description
This thesis describes an assembly-setup and a longterm-test-setup to built and test substructures of the CMS tracker end-caps, so-called petals. The needed mechanical components are shown and the assembly procedure is described. The proof-of-principle integration of a first petal showed that the petal assembly-setup in Aachen is ready to built petals in the designated time. After assembling a petal it has to be longterm tested using temperature cycles of several days duration. The first longterm-test of a petal is described. The read out chain was stable but the final test procedure is still missing, making a final grading of the petals impossible. In total 41 petals will be tested and graded in Aachen to allow an integration into the CMS tracker end-caps.
